ENDORSEMENTS
When I look at the challenges and opportunities facing Timnath today, Dennis Strachota stands out for his thoughtfulness, his professional background and his demonstrated commitment to our town."
Dennis does not just show up; he contributes. You may recognize him from Town Council meetings, where he consistently provides insightful written and verbal input. His comments are well-researched, thoughtful contributions that have helped shape the dialogue in Town Hall long before he decided to run for office.
Dennis spearheaded the recent citizen’s campaign to support the future recreation center, proving his commitment to Timnath’s future.
With significant professional experience in local government, Dennis understands finance, responsible policymaking, and the long-term planning required to keep Timnath thriving. He won’t have a learning curve; he’ll hit the ground running on day one.
I am proud to endorse Dennis Strachota for Timnath Town Council. He is a thoughtful leader, a professional who understands the system, and a neighbor who truly cares about our town.
Mayor Robert Axmacher
Timnath, Colorado
I’ve known Dennis for about two years, spoken with him about various town developments, and coordinated with him on a Together for Timnath event. He stands out for his approachability, diligence, knowledge of Timnath’s developments and governance, and a genuine concern for Timnath’s long-term well-being. He’s capable of attending to the detail-oriented and unsexy aspects of municipal governance, yet he also comes across as open-minded and curious. That combination of qualities is valuable and uncommon.
As someone who’s particularly concerned about environmental stewardship, I think having Dennis on town council will be a win for Timnath.

DarkSky Colorado, Former Board Chair
I serve on the Trailside Metro District Board with Dennis. He’s worked hard to increase transparency, accountability and financial oversight to the district. Dennis has also been a strong proponent for resident control. I am confident that he will bring the same financial acumen and advocacy for community involvement to the Timnath Town Council.”
Sherril Light
Trailside Metro District, Vice President
Dennis has a keen interest in town government and the challenges facing our community. As a private citizen, and an expert in public finance and local government, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the town’s history, economy and finances. He recently led the citizen effort to secure voter approval for funding the town’s indoor recreation center and initiated a CU Denver design project to promote revitalization of Timnath’s downtown. Dennis has a lot to offer the Town, and I would welcome him as Timnath’s newest councilmember.

Timnath Town Council
I would love to share my support and recommendation for Dennis Strachota. As a non-elected official, Dennis has spent the past couple years investing his time into projects such as Old Town revitalization and working diligently with CU and students to showcase the possibilities in design and growth for Old Town. Dennis often provides his expert advice and suggestions during council meetings, all with the mindset to move Timnath into a bright future. I wish Dennis well in his campaign and would look forward to working side by side in the years to come.

Timnath Town Council
Dennis doesn’t wait for things to change. He makes things change. As a Timnath resident and a nationally recognized expert in government finance and operations, Dennis meets often with town officials and provides public input at town council and planning commission meetings. He was the backbone of the all-volunteer campaign to finance a recreation center in downtown Timnath and is a driving force behind the economic revitalization of Main Street. Guide Our Growth gives its full endorsement to Dennis Strachota. Make the wise choice — vote for Dennis!

Dennis and I participated the same year in Timnath’s Citizen Academy. He encouraged me after graduation to stay involved and I have. And so has he. As a community volunteer, Dennis has demonstrated he has the time, experience and commitment to be the active and informed leader Timnath deserves.
Allison Keithly
Timnath Main Street, Secretary
I’m all in for Dennis Strachota. Nobody on the ballot — or the current council — has as much hands-on local government experience as Dennis. He is hard-wired for public service as an executive, community leader and elected official.
